Got a set in from merry old england for 18 w shipping, as opposed to 18 ea + shipping. Its supposed to be the "new" type for the defenders. I had no way to tell since what rubber was left on the vents was cracking off in little pieces. I un pinned the doors, put GE silicolne 2 clear around the lip of the fire wall (bulkhead) and pressed the seals on firmly. While reaching thru the door, i pressed on the vent to smush the seal while closing the vent controller on the dash. Supposed to leave it alone for a month to make it form to the vehicle.
UPDATE*
After several days of baking in the 100* heat, the seals are starting to mold to shape.
This is my attempt to bring a 1973 Series 3 Land Rover 88" SWB back to life that I found in a field about a year and a half ago.
