Finally got around to cleaning the floors up so they could be herculined.
Herculiners good stuff- I had it before and it lasted the 3 years that I had the bronco w/o any complaints. Just clean clean clean before applying.
The previous owner glued outdoor carpet down and the glue is a mess to take up.
The surfaces must be scratched up with a scotch brite pad, but even better with sandpaper or the wire disc. Then I clean them with xylene.
The floorboards got 2+ coats. They have a lightly rough texture that keeps you from slipping but not sandpaperish.
